*formerly Cafe de la SpookyWelcome! If I had to guess, I'd say you are here because you read my story The Girl in the Tower or its sequel and may be a little curious about the author. There isn't a whole lot to say, but I will do my best to come up with something interesting. Be sure to visit my tribute pages, check out what I have to say about the things I love most and get to know a few of my closest friends. You can even hear them sing on the party pages! Of course, no self-absorbed, ego-heavy website would be complete without lists of things I love. There will eventually be more story-related info and I have several new pages in the works. Thanks for wanting to know more about me! About The Books The Girl in the Tower began as a short story about Harry & Sara that was expected to run 12 chapters long. I wrote it for my best friend, Kelley, who I thought would be the only one on earth who would appreciate it, or even read it for that matter. It wasn't until ch 9 that I decided to see if there was a place to post fiction online and came across Fangirl Central I mean HPFF.com. (Which I have since left in a huff, after dominating their Most Read list for 4 years, being awarded the "Recommended story of the Month" accolade, 300,000+ hits, 1500 reviews and gracing a few featured Top 5 lists.) Sometime while writing pt 2 or 3 I decided to build a website where it could be read as it was meant to be read. Where it could be the showpiece I wanted it to be. So, here I am on the third version of my website and in the midst of writing the second installment to The Girl in the Tower. Be sure to read all my spin-offs, like Disturbing the Dust, the Draco & Sara Series, as well as many one-shots. The Basics There isn't much to say about me. I'm 36. I build websites for firends and for clients in my spare time. I have a boring job, one kid, I'm single and loving it. Men suck, in case you didn't know, but I still like to look at them lol. I love books. I read and write a lot, obviously. I love(d) the X-Files, LOTR, HP, and Survivor. My fav authors are Stephen King, JRR Tolkien, and Anne Rice. I consider LOTR the best and most well-written book I've ever read. I also like to read the classics. That's just about it for my basic info. You'll find more in-depth stuff on the "About Spooky" pages. I hope you like these goofy pics of me. (Maybe now I won't have to constantly tell people that I'm not a guy!) Feel free to leave comments everywhere you go. I will answer you. Don't forget to review my stories!! |
